Eggs and packaging
Collection, grading, batch management and packaging: stages to connect to hygiene procedures and traceable information, adapted to products and customers.
RESPONSIBILITY / QUALITY AND HYGIENE
New food value chains centred on hygiene and safety, developed through expertise, processes and shared responsibilities.
PANAOVUM’s perspective is to connect poultry production to food pathways designed with attention to hygiene: processing, packaging, storage and distribution. Each new value chain must be assessed against product, infrastructure, available expertise and market requirements.
This could also include supplies for school and community initiatives, developed with qualified partners. These are not yet operational activities: sizing, checks and approvals will require specific design and independent assessment.
AREAS TO ASSESS
Collection, grading, batch management and packaging: stages to connect to hygiene procedures and traceable information, adapted to products and customers.
Assess processing and preparation pathways with qualified operators, considering premises hygiene, flow management and product control.
Integrate storage conditions, suitable transport and cold chain where necessary, with clear responsibilities and batch visibility throughout the journey.
Explore food supply models for school and community programmes, with local partners, trained staff and management methods to be verified.
PEOPLE AND PROCESSES
Suitable equipment and spaces must be supported by trained people. The model envisages training, clear procedures and dialogue with quality and food safety specialists, so that activities work consistently together.
Checks must accompany development and make relevant stages documentable. Standards, controls and certification pathways will be defined for each initiative, without attributing qualifications already obtained to the project.
